I'm all for chorus, reverb, flange & other interesting effects (i love it in vocals, guitars, & bass in a lot of music i listen to). But auto-tune is just plain cheating. This is a huge reason why many pop singers sound really out of tune in live performances (that i've heard from people really familiar with recording technology), plus add the fact that a lot of them dance around a lot. But especially as recording artists: REAL singers should just sing in tune... period!!
