Earlier this season, the Houston Astros played 3 games where listeners to the local public radio station could buy tickets through a special link, go to the game, and the proceeds went to the radio station, KUHF. Of course these weren't for big games or games that might sell out.

I think this would be a great idea for an orchestra to try sometime!

The baseball team benefits because they get more people in the stands for a game that wouldn't be sold out. The radio station gets publicity and money.

Unfortunately, here in St. Louis, the superb Classical radio station KFUO was sold by the Lutheran Church a few months ago. It's now an ear screaching hubbub of ear splitting noise.
We have a world-class symphony here and no-class Classical station money hungry owners who sold out.
