Very interesting.

The comments by Alan & Eric v.a v. the antipathy-duo of DetroitCEO-unionGUY indicate
a generation gap taking hold.

Which is hopeful, given that youth re-write the rules through sheer force of unrestrained creative energy.

Listening to antipathy-duo convinces me that the structure of the world is awry...

Thanks for posting this. I think the makeup of the panel says more about the extent of the problem than anything else: not one orchestral musician is on the panel. 4 suits but no players? They should just bring out a giant mirror and ask the panel to look into it if they want to see the problem.

Thank you Delmar for posting this! Cygnus, you're totally right - I couldn't help feeling frustrated that as an orchestral musician the only one that even touched on the reality of my world was Raymond Hair.

One of the talking heads actually said "Musicians are magical..." Huh?! Lol, I guess he meant magical in that we don't make nearly as much money as he does!
