The performance will not be "friends and family only." My understanding is that it will be part of one of our "season sampler" concerts, on which we preview multiple works from our upcoming season. Audience members pay a low price for admission, and the price of the ticket is refunded if they buy a subscription of any kind. The fantasy campers will join us for the Polovtsian Dances.

The Minn. Orchestra is a terrific ensemble, I'm sure it's a great experience. That said, when I think of some of the orchestra gigs I've done, the idea of "fantasy camp" involving anything less than rock stars, ball players or scantily clad vixens makes me larf. :-)
