How sad for music at the loss of Mr. Holmes, a superb musician. I had the immense pleasure of playing several times under his baton. I thought he was an exceptional conductor also.
My condolences to his family and to the musicians and staff of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. He will be sorely missed.
