***NOTICE TO TICKET HOLDERS***

CHICAGO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA PERFORMANCES ON FEBRUARY 3 AND 4
REVISED

=================================================================

The Chicago Symphony Orchestra's performances tonight,
February 3, at 8 p.m. and Friday, February 4, at 1:30 p.m., which
were scheduled to be conducted by CSO music director Riccardo
Muti, will now be led by conductor/pianist Mitsuko Uchida and
conductor Leonard Slatkin.

During the course of this morning's CSO rehearsal, Maestro Muti
fainted and was taken to the hospital. He is currently under a
physician's care.

The revised program is now:
Chicago Symphony Orchestra

MOZART Piano Concerto No. 21 K. 467
Mitsuko Uchida, conductor and piano

SHOSTAKOVICH Symphony No. 5
Leonard Slatkin, conductor

Ticketholders should direct any questions to CSO Patron Services
at 312-294-3000 or patronservices@cso.org.

Thank you, batterie. Those arhythmias will sneak up and knock down even the strongest individuals. Pacemakers are not what they used to be. The implant is minimally invasive outpatient surgery. The things are so small and slick, Muti's going to be better than ever. Mark my words.
