A bit tacky but, but lets face it, if you look good (well at least neat anyway)people do tend to be more "accepting". This is nothing new. I recently saw a web site for a recorder soloist from a latin-american country who has Pecs'O Steel with a muscle shirt and it looked really ridiculous. The Web site surely wasn't sending the right message.

In reference to your comments Liangjie on Geralyn Coticone, I was an actual student of hers, not a clarinet player, and I can tell you that she was demanding, but rightfully so. I would never have had the success I have today without her excellent standards.
