After reading through this forum I find it completely outrageous to compare an orchestral auditions with lottery or gambling. It would be understandable if people who are not musicians would see it that way, but it seems that on this forum even several professional musicians came to such conclusion. Perhaps, they did it on purpose just for this forum.
Even though job is never guaranteed, audition is NOT a lottery. No more comments.
