Anyone know anything yet?

I heard that Anton Jivaev, currently principal of North Carolina Symphony in Raleigh, was the winner.

You know, that's what I like to hear. A guy puts in time and gains experience in one place, then moves up the food chain and gets to continue his career in a powerful new band. Congrats to Anton.
I shudder whenever I hear that a baby straight out of school gets a good job like this.

I believe whoever won will get a trial week first. That's how they've done it in the past. Not sure when that trial week is.

The trial period took place a few weeks ago. Sadly, it appears that the position will not be offered to the winner of the audition.

Hard to believe this knowing Anton and his playing!!!!

Cincinnati's loss, Anton is an amazing violist, probably end up in an even better position before long
