Anyone have any word of what happened in Chicago with the viola auditions?

Finals later in Sept, I believe I heard. Three finalists.

Can the mod please remove these spammer messages? They advertise links & have "addresses" & try to look legit by actually posting about the topic (that's a first). I've seen at least 4-5 of em in the past week all by bogus "new members"

Spam? I thought she was saying that the audition committee was so impressed with the candidates they ran home and practiced after the audition. Or maybe that they should have hired Bashmet.

We deleted this posting but it seems to be a problem currently and we will monitor the forums continually. If you see it again, you can flag it by selecting the rectangle icon with an exclamation point in it located bottom right of the message. You need to be logged in to view those icons.

Once we remove the message, we also suspend the user's account permanently.

Thanks, admin. I actually figured out the ! icon after I made that post. Of the years that I've been reading these forums, I never had to use it before!

It was on Monday, and it was a no-hire. DUMB.
